Into the Light | Window Boudoir Shoot

One of the hardest things about photography for a living is finding time to shoot for yourself. To play with concepts and new ideas. Even then clients photos take priority, which can mean having to leave the editing for a later date.

It was while going back through a previous Boudoir session I realised I had not edited this set of photos shot with the lovely model Ivory Flame. It was arranged to play with one of my favourite sets for Boudoir photography, the window. Not a real window in this case. I am sure Ivory Flame would have brightened the day of many a passer by in Stoke Mandeville but I needed something my clients would feel comfortable with.

The window makes a great photo session for someone who wants to try something a little beyond lingerie in their photo shoot but is not quite sure if they dare to bare. I love the flattering nature of the soft light it provides, while the net curtains or a sheet can be used to show as much or as little as comfortable.

Combine this with one of our other sets and you can be sure of a fun session creating some stunning images for yourself or a loved one. To book simply give me a call on 01296 615631. Or use out Contact Form to find out more

Everyone has to start somewhere however so here are  a couple of suggested lists by professional models of the sort of ‘basics’ every model ought to have. Your list may vary of course but at least this advice from successful  models will help get you started. First though a few general tips from the photographers point of view.
